Auideo Encore Stevie Wonder: Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins on May 13, 1950. Little Stevie Wonder came into the world 6 weeks premature and developed Retinopathy of Prematurity (RoP), a condition which the growth of the eyes is aborted and case the retinas to detach. Being blind since birth was only a minor setback in Stevie Wonder’s life however. The child prodigy signed his first record deal at age 11 and had a #1 hit just two years later. By the time Stevie Wonder was in his mid 20’s he had already written “Superstition”, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”, “Isn’t She Lovely” and won 5 Grammys. In the 1980’s Stevie had a major influence not only in music, but in society. The song “Happy Birthday” was written and dedicated to Martin Luther King, Jr. and was an important factor in the creation of the national holiday, Martin Luther King, Jr day. One of the greatest musicians and one of the most influential individuals receives our Encore Topic this week. It’s with pleasure that The Auideo Show presents, “Stevie Wonder: Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”
