Since Prince Rogers Nelson passed away recently, we thought it only right to celebrate his life by rereleasing our episode about him. Prince was an amazing inspiration to everyone everywhere. Considered the "Pioneer of Minneapolis Sound", Prince has sold well over 100 million records. He is also recognized for having one of the most diverse and full bodied works in music. He's won multiple Grammys, a Golden Globe, an Academy Award, and has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rock magazine Rolling Stones Magazine labeled Prince #27 on the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. His musical influences are said to have been artists like Sly & The Family Stone, Parliament, and James Brown. With over 30 years in the music industry, it is said that Prince looks "as young and as in charge as ever" when he performs.
